PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a beautiful address output just like being handwritten by outputting address data so that the character size of address data printed in 2nd and succeeding lines are smaller than that of address data printed in a 1st line. SOLUTION: In an address data storage area 32 of a RAM, print formats are stored by print areas G1 to G3 on a postal card form. Then, character size and character positions are determined as to the number of characters printed in the largest area G2 (address and name area) among the print areas, and since the character size are generally name > address > sender, the character sizes and character positions are determined on the basis of the determined character size of the area G2 so that the character size of the area G1 is smaller than that of the area G2; and the character sizes and character positions are so determined that the character size of the are G3 is smaller than the character size of the area G1. |
