PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-pickup device various performance of which is improved more than that of a conventional device. SOLUTION: An image-pickup device is provided with a ratio changing device 16 that is placed between a charge-coupled device(CCD) image-pickup element 17, picking up an object image and a condenser lens 15 that forms an incident light to the CCD image pickup element 17 with a prescribed aspect ratio and selectively changes an aspect ratio specified optically via the condenser lens 15 nearly matching the aspect ratio of the CCD image-pickup element 17. Thus the light which is made incident via the condenser lens 15 is formed on an entire image-pickup face of the CCD image-pickup element 17. |
