摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic focus detector using a two-dimensional sensor constituted so that the space of a sensor for photometry is eliminated because the sensor for photometry need not be additionally arranged by obtaining photometry data from the two-dimensional sensor having a wide range-finding area and a reasonable photometry action can be executed with respect to a focus detecting action by making a fixed area cope with an area where the data of a focus detection signal is obtained as an area for photometry. SOLUTION: An object image is formed on a pair of photoelectric conversion elements 8 through a photographing lens 1, a visual field mask 2, a condenser lens 3 and an image reforming lens 11. Besides, it is transmitted to a focus detection means 10 and an object luminance detection means 11 through an A/D converter 9. By a system control circuit 12, the photometry area is moved based on focus deviation amount. By the detection means 11, the luminance information of the moved photometry area is outputted.
