PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items so as to reduce cost and weight and to optionally adjust the sectional areas of anode and cathode flow routes and directions thereof by partitioning the anode and cathode gas flow routes of a fuel cell by one plate. SOLUTION: An anode and cathode flow route forming plate 11 is composed of a spherical surface and a curve for connecting this. In this case, by setting each anode side curve Ra and each cathode side curve Rc to proper values, a proper ratio is set between the sectional area of the anode flow route 6 and the sectional area of the cathode flow route 7. Also, by adjusting the pitches Px and Py of the (x) and (y) directions of this spherical surface, flow rate anisotropy is optionally adjusted in each of (x) and (y) directions. Thus, sufficient performance is provided only by providing one of such anode and cathode flow route forming plates 11 between anode and cathode electrodes. |
