The industrial equipment cabinet has a rectangular front face closed by a door (3). The two opposite upright edges of the front face are fitted with a rail (4). The door itself is made up of two panels (6,7) hinged together along a transverse axis.The upper panel (6) has a retaining hook (8) on its top edge. The lower panel (7) has two sliders (9) that co-operate with the rails on the side of the cabinet. The top panel can be swung down to allow access to the contents of the top half of the cabinet. To allow access to the contents of the entire cabinet the top part of the door is swung down, then the two parts slid upward on the rails. When at the top of the rails the two parts of the door can be swung back over the top of the cabinet, where they rest while access is needed.
