发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REMOVING CARBON, SILICON, MANGANESE AND SULFUR FROM MOLTEN HIGH CARBON FERROUS METAL
摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing silicon, manganese, carbon and sulfur all together in a single reacting vessel from a melted high carbon ferrous metal. SOLUTION: After adding mixed material of material containing iron oxide and flux into a ladle 3, the molten iron of high carbon ferrous metal is added to this mixed material to obtain slag. Under condition of incorporation metallic magnesium into a plunger head 1 having plural through-holes 1d bored at the lower side wall, the head 1 is descended into the molten iron till touching to the bottom part of the ladle 3. At the same time of touching to this bottom part, the head 1 is pulled up so as to form a gap in the range of 5-50 mm between the bottom part of the ladle 3 and the head 1 and then, the desulfurization of the molten iron is executed by gradually exhausting manganese vapor into the molten iron through the through-holes 1d. Unreacted iron oxide existing in the molten iron and the slag, is mixed and the silicon and the manganese are further oxidized with stirred flow during exhausting the magnesium vapor, and the iron oxide is further reduced into the iron.</p>
