PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a rotary polygon mirror to the rotary part of a motor only with one elastic member. SOLUTION: The rotary polygon mirror 1 is elastically pressed to a flange member 4 integrated with a rotary shaft 3 of a motor M1 only by an elastic member 8 composed of a rubber material, and integrally connected with this member. The elastic member 8 is assembled to the rotary shaft by fitting the hole of a central part 8a to the rotary shaft 3 elastically. By appropriately setting the press-fitting margin of the central part 8a of the elastic member 8, thrust overload is avoided. |
