FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; entrapping, cleaning and afterburning of liquid and gaseous fuel remnants and suppressing of exhaust noise. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has housing, inlet and outlet branch pipes, collector, multiple-section swirler, multiple-section accumulator, partitions, conical fairing, shell being the cover of accumulator, and blades. Truncated top of conical fairing is pointed to inlet branch pipe. Blades are arranged tangentially to outer diameter outlet branch pipe. Fairing has central hole whose diameter does not exceed half of outlet branch pipe diameter. Swirler and accumulator consist of sections formed by partitions. Sections of swirler and accumulator are arranged in housing coaxially, layer by layer, one over the other. Partitions of sections are made in form of side walls of hollow polyhedral truncated pyramids. In accumulator sections these walls of polyhedral truncated pyramids are pointed with their tops to each other, and bases of pyramids are connected by cylindrical shell. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning of engine exhaust gases. 3 dwg |
