FIELD: preparation of water for drinking and service supply systems. SUBSTANCE: gear includes body housing electrodes, branch pipe to supply and discharge water, branch pipe to supply oxygen-carrying gas and branch pipe to discharge waste ozone-carrying gas. High-voltage electrode is manufactured in the form of volumetric electrode of the type of brush with many sharp points and grounded electrode is made in the form of cylinder. Bushing insulator of high-voltage electrode and grounded electrode form together circular clearance through which water comes into gear and branch pipe to supply water is located in zone of grounded electrode and bushing insulator. Branch pipe feeding oxygen-carrying gas is connected to hollow current lead of high-voltage electrode and grounded electrode is linked to system distributing water and ozone- carrying mixture. Purification and disinfection of water are carried out thanks to oxidation of impurities present in water by ozone, atomic oxygen, excited molecules of oxygen, etc formed under electric discharges in gas and water carrying oxygen. EFFECT: increased efficiency of purification and disinfection of water, reduced specific energy consumption, enhanced reliability of structure of gear. 1 dwg |
