ATM CELL RADIO TRANSMISSION EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the improvement of a line using rate and the suppression of power consumption when transmitting an ATM cell on the communication lines of various transmission speeds through a radio TDMA line by transmitting an asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) cell by generating at least two kinds of TMDA bursts having the different numbers of the stored cells at a slave or a master station. SOLUTION: When transmitting an ATM cell of a high-speed communication line from a slave station to a master station, the transmission speed of the communication line in which the slave station is connected to a ground network, terminal equipment or the like is made into five ATM cells per a TMDA frame. As a TMDA burst, two kinds of short TMDA burst storing one ATM cell and long TMDA burst storing four ATM cells are used and a super frame is made into double length of the TMDA frame. Since the transmission speed of the communication line is five the ATM cells per the TMDA frame, the short TMDA burst and the long TMDA burst are used one by one per the TMDA frame.
