PRODUCTION OF CATALYST FOR PRODUCING NITRILE

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a molybdenum-tellurium catalyst capable of producing nitrile in a high yield by the vapor phase catalytic reaction of alkane and ammonia. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst precursor having a compsn. equal to the metal element compsn. of a catalyst is prepared from an aq. soln. and preliminarily baked at 350-700 deg.C under such a condition that oxygen is substantially absent and the baked one is subsequently cooled down to 300 deg.C or less to be brought into contact with oxygen-containing gas and again baked at 350-700 deg.C in the absence of oxygen to obtain a catalyst.
