A MANUFACTURING METHOD OF A DC-TYPE PDP

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel of a direct current type is provided to obtain fluorescent efficiency of high luminance by preventing a flowing effect of a fluorescent material to an upper portion of an electrode. CONSTITUTION: A multitude of barrier rib(14) is formed on a transparent substrate(11) in order to define electrodes(12), a dielectric(13), and an independent discharge space. A protective pillar is formed on the electrodes(12). A fluorescent material(16) is applied on the discharge space between the barrier ribs(14). The fluorescent material(16) is dried and plasticized. The protective pillar is removed when the plasticizing process for the fluorescent material(16) is performed.
