PUMP CASE FIX STRUCTURE OF A WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: Fixing structure of a pump case in a washing machine is provided to reduce a fixing time of the pump case by automatically conforming a through hole of an outer case and a screw slot of a boss, to prevent damage of the boss and to improve the reliability of the pump case by exactly tightening a fixing screw. CONSTITUTION: Many bosses(64) are protruded in a pump case(60). A screw slot(64a) is formed in the boss(64) to tighten fixing screws(42). At least one inserting protrusions(66) as position deciding portions are arranged in the pump case(60) to decide a fixing position. An inserting groove(50b) is formed in the outer case(50) to be corresponding to the position deciding portion. The through hole(50a) and the screw slot(64a) are automatically conformed by inserting the inserting protrusion(66) in the inserting groove(50b). The pump case(60) is fixed with many fixing screws(42). Thereby, damage of the bosses(64) is prevented. Moreover, the reliability of the pump case is improved.
