PROTOCOL DESIGN NETHOD FOR THE MOBILE ORIGINATING CALL CONTROL ON ATM VC EXCHANGE

PURPOSE: A method of designing a moving originating signal processing protocol in an ATM virtual channel switch is provided which applies protocol messages such as terminal authentication, allocation of temporary mobile user identifier, and confirmation of subscriber origination grade, to design the moving originating call processing protocol in the ATM virtual channel switch. CONSTITUTION: When an originating subscriber matching block receives a terminal set-up message from a base station controller(1), the block transmits an authentication information request message to a home location register(2). Upon reception of an authentication information response message from the home location register(3), the block sends a mobility facility message for performing authentication to the base station controller(4). Upon reception of the mobility facility message, the block transmits a mobility facility message instructing radio section coding and a mobility facility message for allocating temporary numbers for preventing the exposure of the location of the subscriber to the base station controller(7). Upon reception of a message indicating the completion of the allocation of temporary numbers(8), the block transmits a terminal connection message to the base station controller(9). When the subscriber matching block receives a set-up message from the base station controller(10), the block sends a call set-up permission request message to the home location register(11). Upon reception of a call set-up permission response message from the home location register(12) the block sends a call processing message to the base station controller(13). The block sends a bearer set-up message to the base station controller(14) and receives a bearer set-up completion message from the base station controller(15).
