PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manage a recorder using an exchangeable medium by providing data to be recorded on the medium with something in common. SOLUTION: This information recorder is provided with a medium data storage part 13 for storing the program contents recorded on the recording medium by classifying them for every recording medium, a control part 4 for retrieving the common item between the program contents to be recorded and the program contents being stored in the medium data storage means, a display control part for informing the medium having the common item to the user, and a picture multiplexing part 9.
