PURPOSE: To provide the document preparing device which generates a spine or a patch of paper, which shows characters, graphics, or the like without distortion when being stuck, without complicated operation. CONSTITUTION: A control processor 40, a sticking shape designating function part 41 which designates the shape of the object to which the spine or the patch of paper should be stuck, a viewpoint position designating function part 42 which designates the position of the viewpoint for seeing, a sticking shape deforming function part 43 which deforms characters, graphics, or the like in the spine or the patch of paper generated by information designated by the sticking shape designating function part 41, and a viewpoint position change function part 44 which deforms characters, graphics, or the like in the spine or the patch of paper generated in accordance with information designated by the viewpoint position designating function part 42 are provided. When the spine or the patch of paper is printed, the shape of the sticking object and the position of the viewpoint are designated to automatically deform the characters, graphics, or the like in the spine or the patch of paper so that characters, graphics, or the like in the spine or the patch of paper can be seen without distortion after sticking. |
