PURPOSE:To improve durability of a shaft seal device by setting a range of a swash angle displacement so as to include a specified angle, and so setting products of inertia of the swash plate that a moment is generated in the direction of increasing the tilting angle and capacity due to the rotation of its own under the state of that tilting angle. CONSTITUTION:A range of tilting displacement of a tilting plate 14 is set so as to include about zero degree. That is, in the tilting plate 14, an abutting surface 14a obliquely formed on a lower front surface abuts against a rotor 16 for the regulation of the maximum angle, while a sleeve 12 abuts against a circle lip 30 for the regulation of the minimum angle of zero degree. The tilting plate integrated with a bracket 19, a guide pin 18, and a spherical part 18a gets over energizing force of a pressurizing spring 13 under the state of the tilting plate of zero degree. Products of inertia is so set that a moment is generated for increasing a tilting angle by the rotation of its own. The products of inertia is set in respect to perpendicular function having an axis coinciding with an axial center y and an original which is a crossing point of the axial center y and a plane perpendicular thereto including a pivot axis. |
