PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive near-IR reflecting film, capable of preventing a malfunction in peripheral equipment due to near-IR emitted from the display surface of a plasma display in a wide near-IR region, having a high light transmittance and suitable for a front panel. SOLUTION: The reflecting film is a multilayer stretched film obtained by alternately stacking first layers, based on a polyester whose repeating units are ethylene-2,6-naphthalate units and second layers, based on a thermoplastic resin having a lower refractive index than the polyester constituting the first layers in at least 41 layers and stretching the stacked layers in at least one direction. The first or second layers contain 0.001-5 wt.% inert particles, having 0.01-2μm average particle diameter, the thickness of each of the first and second layers is in the range of 0.05-5μm and the first or second layers have a maximum to minimum thickness ratio of >=1.2.
