PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear sash padding for tying a sash for eliminating a sash loosening (losing shape) or a feeling of fatigue due to being tightened in wearing a Kimono and for helping easily tying a sash splendidly for oneself even for a beginner or elderly person. SOLUTION: This rear sash padding essentially comprises a nearly ellipsoidal sash body 12 to be placed around the waist in wearing the Kimono, and flat braids 22 and the other flat-braids 32 differing in color from each other with the respective base ends 24 and 34 sewn on the sash body 12 in such a context as to be rectangular to the length direction of the sash body 12 at its central position close to a lower rim 14 of a reverse side 13 facing on the waist; wherein these flat braids 22 and 23 are arranged in parallel to each other somewhat apart from the lower rim 14 in such a context that base end rims 25 and 35 of the respective base ends 24 and 34 stand against the lower rim 14 and sewn via the respective base ends 24 and 34 on the reverse side 13 of the sash padding body 12.
