PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive a distributed document in an electronic document management system by using the authentication technology of homepages. SOLUTION: In a distributed document browsing stage P2, a log-in ID of an intranet 30 is checked against user registration information stored on a homepage server 31 to specify the responsible person of a document reception department and the record of browsing by the document reception department responsible person is saved as record of reception on the homepage server 31.
