PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that there is the danger of a severe accident such as the clipping and injury of a hand or a toe, or bringing the motionless state, when the hand or the toe is wrongly inserted into a shutter-falling place, because the shutter of an animal-capturing cage is heavy and powerfully falls, and further a problem that it is difficult to open the shutter with a man's own power and then escape, when the man is confined in the cage, because the shutter is heavy. SOLUTION: This shutter is lightened in a weight of 10 kg and can thereby simply be lifted. When the shutter is lifted to an upper end, a safety lock is automatically operated to perfectly prevent the sudden falling of the shutter. Even when the shutter falls after the setting of the trap, it is not caused that a hand or a foot tip is clipped and injured, because safety rubber members are disposed at the lower end portions of the falling positions. Even when the man is confined in the cage, the man can safely escape with his own power, because the shutter is light, can simply be lifted, and can easily be moved and further the safety lock is automatically operated. Consequently, the cage can be used as a safe animal-capturing cage.
