ATTACHABLE/DETACHABLE EXTERNAL STORAGE DEVICE AND AUTOMATIC START PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachable/detachable external storage device which can be mounted on a computer equipped with a general external equipment connection interface and an automatic start program stored in the attachable/detachable external storage device.

SOLUTION: A storage device 4 of a USB memory 2 preliminarily stores a part or whole part of an automatic start program. When connected to a USB interface 6 of the computer 1, a controller 3 transmits recognition information indicating a predetermined type of equipment to the computer 1 to make the computer 1 recognize it, and when the automatic start program is executed, the display device of the computer 1 is made to display an input picture to promote access to a server system 9, and the corresponding server system 9 is accessed according to a predetermined input operation.
