FIELD: electrical engineering; switching devices including flexible ones. ^ SUBSTANCE: user interface has fabric-like flexible conducting electrodes connected to external circuit and fabric-like variable-resistance component capable of exposing resistance variation in response to mechanical strain and made in the form of coating applied to fabric interleaved between mentioned electrodes. Coating is made of conducting or variable-resistance material and elastomer binder. As an alternative, coating can be applied to first fabric-like flexible conducting electrode and made of one or more second fabric-like flexible conducting electrodes disposed so that they abut against mentioned fabric-like variable-resistance electrode and connected to external circuit. ^ EFFECT: improved design. ^ 34 cl, 4 dwg
