PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic music selecting device dispensing with manual input by a user. SOLUTION: The automatic music selecting device is provided with a database for registering musical piece data of music and a musical sensitive space coordinate value which is the coordinate value of space expressing a mental impression of the music; a voice input means for detecting the user's voice; a voice analyzing means for extracting a physical feature quantity from a voice signal detected by the voice input means; a feeling information generating means for generating feeling information expressing the user's feelings based on the physical feature quantity extracted by the voice analyzing means; a feeling information/musical sensitive space coordinate converting means for determining the musical sensitive space coordinate value which is the coordinate value of space expressing the mental impression of the recommended music based on the feeling information obtained by the feeling information generating means; a music selecting means for selecting a music closest to the musical sensitive space coordinate value determined by the feeling information/musical sensitive space coordinate converting means, from the database; and a reproducing means for reproducing the music selected by the music selecting means.
