PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable automatically re-connect an outside line call to the opposite party of this call, if the call is disconnected due to termination of the call without performing a holding operation because a user forgets to transfer the call during calling to another key telephone set. SOLUTION: A key telephone main device 10 housing one or more outside lines and a plurality of extension lines is provided with a reservation information storage means F45 for making a reservation to re-connect to the opposite party of the outside line call from a second key telephone set, while a first key telephone set is busy for an outside line call, when the first key telephone set finishes the call; a call control means F46 for calling the second key telephone set for a predetermined time when the first key telephone set finishes the call; a calling time monitoring means F47 for stopping calling if the key telephone set does not respond despite the calling for a predetermined time; and a transmission control means F48 for automatically performing transmission to the opposite party of the outside line call, when the key telephone set responds within the predetermined time.
