PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight simple tombstone which can secure a wide cinerary chamber, on which a plate with a written family name, a written posthumous Buddhist name, a written secular name, etc. can be attached, and which does not get burned with a flare of a candle or an incense stick. SOLUTION: This tombstone comprises a laid seat 22 which is fixed on the ground by means of an anchor 30, lower and upper inside pedestals 23 and 24 which are fixed on the laid seat 22, and a rod part 25 which is fixed on the upper inside pedestal. The whole of the tombstone is formed of FRP. A heat-resisting materia layer 26, which is composed of thin stone ranging from a few millimeters to a few centimeters in thickness, is provided on the top surface, provided with a candlestand 28 and an incense stick holder 26, of the pedestal 23.
