PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching and detaching structure of a hat string, capable of easily exchanging the hat string for another, and to provide a kit of the hat strings, capable of being used for the structure. SOLUTION: In this structure, tongue-shaped members 3 which are attached to two or more positions along an approximately semicircular area of an internal circumference of a hat 1 and made of a cloth are each structured so that its bottom half is formed into a bent part 7, and further a pair of velcro straps (R) 9, 10 is positioned inside the tongue-shaped member 3, so as to keep the member 3 in a bent state. The hat string 13 is nipped and held by each of the tongue-shaped members 3 which are bent. When the tongue-shaped member 3 is attached, an adhesive or a double-sided tape for the cloth is used or the member 3 is stitched. The pair of the velcro straps (R) 9, 10 is attached to the member 3 so as to face each other across a gap 11 formed along a bent line 8 on which the member 3 is bent, and therefore the hat string 13 is nipped and held by a part of the gap 11.
