PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a resin coated packaging container which can be minimized in strength degradation due to heat treatment after printing and coating and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet for the resin coated packaging container contains 0.20 to 0.40mass% Cu, 1.25 to 1.60mass% Mg, 0.80 to 1.30mass% Mn, 0.25 to 0.50mass% Fe, and 0.10 to 0.50mass% Si, and is composed of the balance Al and inevitable impurities.
