PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operator identification method and an operator identification device capable of accurately identifying each operator, and a face-to-face scale provided therewith. SOLUTION: An antenna 31a is an RFID read antenna for receiving (reading) identification information stored in an RFID tag 32 which has a predetermined distance range from the upper surface of a mat 31 as a receivable range. A weight detection part 31b is a weight detection unit provided with a load cell, which can detect the weight of an operator who stepped on the upper surface of the mat 31. Accordingly, the operator wearing a belt (RFID tag 32) within the predetermined distance from the grounding surface of his/her sole steps on the mat 31, whereby information of the operator is received by the antenna 31a, the weight is detected by the weight detection part 31b, and the identification information and the detection value of the weight are repeatedly transmitted to a control part 25.
