PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an N-dimensional lookup table capable of realizing highly accurate conversion without increasing a memory size by setting the input value range of the N-dimensional lookup table on the basis of the value range of input image data. SOLUTION: When generating the N-dimensional lookup table to be used for the conversion processing of the input image data, the value range of the input image data is acquired for each channel corresponding to each dimension of the N-dimensional lookup table, and the input value range of each dimension of the N-dimensional lookup table is determined on the basis of the acquired value range. Then, for each dimension of the N-dimensional lookup table, a predetermined number of grid points are arranged in the determined input value range and the output value of each arranged grid point is set on the basis of target image conversion processing.
