The part (19) has a longitudinal adjustable lip (28) bordering a rigid main body (26) and applied along a structural member of a cab interior of a motor vehicle. A transversal end edge (21) adjacent to an end of the lip, is destined to dock a fitting element of the cab interior, where the end edge is rigid and integrated to the body. The adjacent end of the lip is spaced from the end edge. The end edge is interposed between a headliner and the end of the lip that is not in contact with the headliner. A textile cover is configured to cover the body and the lip.
