POWER AMPLIFIER MODULE

A power amplifier module for a remote of an analog optical repeater is provided to reduce the number of signal uplink or downlink amplifiers provided for delay control by delaying and transmitting a IF signal from a base station, and converting an RF signal from a terminal into an IF signal and then delaying and transmitting an RF signal. A power amplifier module includes a digital delay module(21), a signal uplink converter(22), and a power amplifier(23). The digital delay module(21) delays an input IF signal and outputs the IF signal to a terminal(downlink) or to an analog/optical converter(uplink). The signal uplink converter(22) converts an IF signal downlink-output from the digital delay module(21) into an RF signal. The power amplifier module(23) power amplifies the RF signal converted in the signal uplink converter(22) and then downlink outputs the RF signal.
