A mobile repeater is provided to enable a battery to be operable for a long time by minimizing power consumption. A doner antenna(30) communicates with a base station. A service antenna(40) communicates with a terminal. The first signal processing unit(22) processes an uplink signal from the terminal to the base station. The second signal processing unit(25) processes a downlink signal from the base station to the terminal. If the level of the downlink signal received from the doner antenna(30) is higher than a certain level, the first signal processing unit(22) is set to a non-operable state. When the level of the uplink signal received from the service antenna is higher than a certain level, the second signal processing unit(25) is set to an operable state. |
