METHOD OF CREATING EXTENSION FFT WINDOW

A method of creating an FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) window is provided to improve receiving characteristics by utilizing receive signals corresponding to an expansion window. When receiving signals of a time length longer than the length of a valid OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) symbol are demodulated by an FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) process using an extended FFT window(1), the extended FFT window is generated by mixing the receive signals before or after the length of the valid OFDM symbol through a calculation. The extended FFT window forms expansion windows(W1,W2), which are extended before or after the length of the valid OFDM symbol using the receive signals. The receive signals with different time positions as much as the length of the valid OFDM symbol are generated by forming half-amplitude thereof.
