An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to simplify the assembling process and minimize the manufacturing cost by forming a lamp-fixing unit at a joining hole of a side support. An LCD comprises an LCD panel(101), lamps(102) for supplying light to the LCD panel, a side support(103) having joining holes(103a) to which the lamps are joined, and lamp-fixing units(104) each extended from a face constituting each of the joining holes. A portion of the lamp-fixing unit is contacted with an outer surface of the lamp to fix the lamp. Both ends of the lamp are joined to the joining holes formed in the side support and tightly fixed by the lamp-fixing units formed on the side support. When the lamp is joined to the joining hole of the side support, the lamp-fixing unit is partially contacted with the outer surface of the lamp to apply a uniform pressure to the lamp in order to fix the lamp. |
