PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a pixel for a region to be color-corrected included in color image data may not be extracted as a target pixel. SOLUTION: A determination is made for all pixels of color image data whether the pixel indicates a predetermined region or not by using the color information of the pixel, and if it is determined that the pixel indicates a predetermined region, it is to be color corrected. The pixel determined not to indicate a predetermined region from the color information of the pixel, is determined again whether it indicates a predetermined region or not by using the color information around the pixel, and if it is determined to indicate a predetermined region, it is to be color corrected.
