A reading education system and method are provided to offer an environment in which a member performs reading, preparation of a discourse, announcement and discussion through a web based reading education infrastructure to the member and evaluate a reading education procedure. A reading education system(100) includes a reading member registration unit(200) for specifying a reading education object, a discourse education unit(300) for providing an education environment for preparation of a discourse of a reading member according to the specified reading education object, an announcement/discussion education unit(400) for providing an education environment for announcement and/or discussion of the reading member based on the discourse prepared through the discourse education unit, and an evaluation/level giving unit(500) for evaluating the announcement and/or discussion and giving a quantitative level to the reading member. |
