LIGHT EMITTING DIODE HAVING PHOSPHOR THIN FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

The light emitting diode and the manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the color uniformity of the light by forming the phosphor thin film of the uniform thickness by using the jet of the aerosol type. The solvent including fluorescent substance is prepared(S100). The aerosol is formed by using the ultrasonic wave(S200). The ultrasonic wave is applied in the solvent including the fluorescent substance. The vibration energy by the ultrasonic wave is delivered to solvent. The aerosol fluid is generated(S300) by providing the gas for the aerosol of the high density. The aerosol fluid is nitrogen, helium or neon. The aerosol fluid is directly emitted to the light emitting diode(S400). Therefore, the phosphor thin film is formed on the light emitting diode (S500).
