RICE CAKE SANDWICH MADE FROM GLUTONOUS RICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

A method for preparing the tteok (rice cake) sandwich by using the glutinous rice, and the tteok sandwich prepared by the method are provided to improve the application of rice and increase the consumption of rice. A method for preparing the tteok sandwich by using the glutinous rice comprises the steps of mixing the soaked glutinous rice with milk, pasting it and steaming it at a high pressure; mixing it with salt and sugar, punching it, and freezing it; cutting it by a certain thickness to make a glutinous rice sand; coating it with the tteok covering; and making sandwich by layering the filling with the glutinous rice sand.
