METHOD AND DEVICE FOR REALIZING CELL IDENTIFIER PROCESSING

Provided are a method and system for realizing a cell identifier processing. The method includes: when a Physical Cell Identifier (PCI) conflict is occurred, a corresponding new cell identifier for avoiding the conflict is determined by re-determining a cell identifier; or, avoiding the PCI conflict by re-determining a carrier; or, avoiding the PCI conflict by increasing the range of available physical cell identifier; the new cell identifier is another physical cell identifier which is not conflicted with the physical cell identifier, or a virtual cell identifier. The technical solution avoids the PCI conflict by the method of generating a new cell identifier or re-selecting a carrier when the occurrence of physical cell identifier conflict is determined, so that the interferer problem caused by the PCI conflict when using an unlicensed spectrum may be disposed, and the application of the unlicensed spectrum is facilitated.
