PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate error-correcting decoding even if a compression rate is varied and influences of interference between symbols are temporally varied during compressed spectrum communication.SOLUTION: In a transmission device 110, spectrum compression is performed on a transmission signal by suppressing a frequency band in a part of a modulation signal and varying a band compression rate in accordance with an idle frequency bandwidth. In a reception device 120, spectrum recovery is performed on the transmission signal by a reception filter band 302. Likelihood of a reception signal point that is returned before the spectrum compression is calculated by a likelihood weighting circuit 304, and the calculated likelihood is weighted by a weight coefficient corresponding to the band compression rate. Error correction is performed by an error-correcting decoding circuit 306 on the basis of the weighted likelihood, and reception bits are decoded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
