The present invention relates to a method for chemical introduction and mixing, which is applied to a water treatment process or a sludge treatment process for sewage, contaminated water, wastewater, or the like. Provided is a method for chemical introduction and mixing, comprising a first mixing step of introducing a chemical into influent raw water or sludge water and then performing mixing and a second mixing step of introducing an additional chemical into the raw water having passed through the first mixing step and then performing mixing, wherein a predetermined proportion of an estimated amount of chemical to be introduced is introduced in a fixed manner at the first mixing step, and the remaining amount of chemical to be introduced, exclusive of the amount of chemical introduced at the first mixing step, is introduced in a fine control manner at the second mixing step. Water purification efficiency is increased by promoting reaction efficiency of the chemical at the second mixing step through the two-stage introduction of the chemical, the amount of chemical used can be reduced by preventing use of an excessive amount of chemical through the fine control of the amount of chemical to be introduced, and the water content of cake and the amount of cake to be generated can be reduced by increasing dehydration efficiency through generation of flocks. |
