PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an estimation accuracy of a power of a signal component of a reception light and a power of a component due to a self phase modulation of a noise component of the reception light.SOLUTION: An estimation device 10 comprises detection parts 14 to 16 and an estimation part 17. The detection parts 14 to 16 detect a first parameter indicating a ratio of a power of a signal component of a reception light and a power of a noise component of the reception light; and a second parameter indicating a sum of the power of the signal component and the power of the noise component. Further, the detection parts 14 to 16 detect a third parameter indicating a sum of a power of a component due to a relative phase modulation of the noise component and a power of a component due to a natural emission light of the noise component. The estimation part 17 estimates a forth parameter indicating a ratio of the power of the signal component and the power of the component due to a self phase modulation of the noise component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
