PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automatic bacteria detecting apparatus and a method thereof, in which processing, such as specification of pathogen of developed disease, may be carried out certainly, quickly and safely at that field.SOLUTION: The apparatus comprising a collection suspension storing container for storing collection suspension containing a plurality of magnetic particles formed in a manner capable of binding to an objective substance, and which is constructed to comprises: an objective substance collector which brings the collection suspension into contact with soil or air in the objective site so as to allow the objective substance in the soil, on the soil surface or in the air to bind to the magnetic particles; a magnetic particle separator separating the magnetic particles by effecting magnetic field thereon; an objective substance processor carried out a predetermined processing to the objective substance obtained from the separated magnetic particles; and a photometer measuring optical condition of the objective substance subjected to the predetermined processing or a target obtained from the objective substance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
