CONCENTRIC ELECTROSTATIC FILTER

The invention relates to an electrostatic filer for filtering solid and liquid particles in gases, formed by: a casing (3); concentric receivers (15); concentric diffusers (10); electrodes (2); insulated supports (7); a distribution disk (8); a thermal insulator (17); electrical resistors (4); a collector (9); and a filter cover (1). The electrodes (2) are secured laterally to the concentric diffusers (10) and, at the upper end thereof, to the distribution disk (8). The insulated supports connect the filter cover (1) to the distribution disk (8) which supports the concentric diffusers (10). The electrical resistors (4) are housed in the outer face of the casing (3) and are covered by the thermal insulator (17). In this way, gas flows through the filter from the inlet (14), located in the outermost part, to the insulated outlet (5) located in the central part, making maximum use of the space and the surface area of the constituent materials for the efficient filtration of micronic liquid or solid particles contained in gases at any temperature up to 900 °C and dew point.
