PURPOSE:To improve the input power factor, to output substantially constant high frequency voltage and to simplify a circuit configuration by composing a chopper circuit of an inductance element and a switching element to charge a smoothing condenser. CONSTITUTION:A half-bridge type inverter 3 is composed of transistors Q1, Q2, capacitors C1, C2, and an oscillation transformer T1, and an AC voltage of the switching frequency of the transistors Q1, Q2 is supplied to a load 4. On the other hand, a step-down chopper circuit 8 is composed of a choke coil L0, a smoothing capacitor C0, a diode D3, the transistor Q2 and a feedback diode D1. |
