PURPOSE:To feed a printing paper after drying the paper by a dehumidifying heater and to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles on the printing paper and the occurrence of paper jamming by installing a heater controlling means for controlling the drive of the dehumidifying heater based on each temperature separately measured by an outside temperature measuring means and an inside temperature measuring means. CONSTITUTION:In the paper feeding device for a copying machine 2, an AC driver 22 for driving the dehumidifying heater 16 is controlled by a main control part 19, and the feeding device is provided with the heater controlling means for driving the dehumidifying heater 16 based on each temperature separately measured by an in-machine thermistor 17 and an external thermistor 18. In such a constitution, printing papers to be successively carried so as to be used for image printing are previously stored in a paper tray, the printing papers stored in the paper tray are previously heated by the dehumidifying heater 16 so as to be dehumidified. Thus, dry printing papers are always fed to the electrophotographic mechanism, etc., so that the occurrence of wrinkles on the fed printing paper and the occurrence of the paper jamming can be prevented. |
