1,213,370. Feeding reed switch levers. INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP. 29 Nov., 1968 [5 Dec., 1967], No. 56680/68. Heading B8S. Reed switch levers are introduced at 12 into the top of channel 11 so that they stand approximately vertical there-within. The levers move downwards maintaining their verticality by reason of the baffles shown, pass through channel 14 and then enter the two channels 37 and 38 of shoot 13 which is provided with an apertured base through which the levers fall into the holes 18 of moving matrix 17. The channels (with or without the matrix) are shaken by vibrator 23 to cause the downwards movement of the levers, the two channels 37, 38 being provided so that if one fails to fill the apertures 18 the other will do so. |
