PURPOSE:To attain high speed synchronization acquisition by providing a transmission means to which a specific hopping frequency is allocated and a reception means conducting synchronization acquisition by selecting a hopping frequency in response to a prescribed spread code series after acquiring the specific hopping frequency to the system. CONSTITUTION:In the transmitter-receiver of the frequency hopping modulation spread spectrum system, a spread code generating circuit 7 generating a frequency hopping modulation spread code series allocates a specific hopping frequency to plural codes from the head of each spread code series and provides an output. Furthermore, the receiver side awaits the arrival of the specific hopping frequency and acquires the specific hopping frequency and selects a hopping frequency corresponding to a prescribed spread code series to acquire synchronization and to receive data. Thus, tentative acquisition is conducted at a high speed with a conventional hardware configuration because the hopping frequency is shifted within the range of the changeover performance of a frequency synthesizer. |
