In Fig. 1, member 2 carries rigid rods 7 alternating with flexible rods 8, the rods 8 being depressed by the fluid to form grooves. In Fig. 2 (not shown), spaced rigid members 9 carry a resilient plate 10. In Fig. 3 (not shown), a resilient layer 13 contains spaced rigid members 12. In Fig. 4 (not shown), a resilient bush 14 has a more rigid strip wound around it. |
